CASA DE SOL is situated 60 minutes from Oporto Airport, the flight time is approximately 1 hour 50 minutes from London airports.

 

Ryanair operate fights to Oporto Airport nearly everyday during the summer months.  Other airlines flying include Air Portugal and British Airways. 

 

 

You can fly to Santiago De Costello in Spain, the flight time is the same but the drive to Casa De Sol will  take approximately 2 hours. If you have plenty of time, this is a lovely drive through Spain and Portugal, however it is not as straightforward as the drive from Oporto Airport.

 

 

In the past we have rented our car from Argus Car Rental and Hertz, we recommend you search the web to find the best deal as hire companies are very competitive.  Please bear in mnd, it is more convenient to use a company that is based within the relevant airport.  This means that you will be met by their representative, other companies outside the airport require you to phone on arrival, this can often cause delays.

 

The Spanish border is only a 30 minute drive from the Villa, so we suggest you make use of the Hire Car and venture across the border, please remember to take your passports.

 

 

You will need approximately 15 Euros in small change for road tolls.
