The PENEDA-GERES NATIONAL PARK, founded in 1970 is a great place to visit for families and walking enthusiasts. The park has 72,000 hectors of wild and beautiful countryside to explore and is steeped in history.

The NATIONAL PARK is the ideal location for the avid bird watcher to pursue their hobby or just enjoy the deer and wild boar which can be found roaming freely

PONTE DE LIMA is a town full of character and history and lies in the Lima Valley, which is an excellent location for walking. Ponte de Lima is named after the bridge over the river.Ponte de Lima is starting to be recognized as a tourist destination. Tourist facilities are being added, as well as resort features like golf courses.

PONTE DE LIMA is still a peaceful and beautiful town to explore with is quaint tree lined streets and narrow lanes ideal for a relaxing stroll.
